spheroIntro to Sphero Robotics for K-2nd Grade

Students will be introduced to the basic operations and maneuvers of Sphero robots using Android technology. Once students are familiar with basic operations, they will be challenged to maneuver their robot through an obstacle course!

spheroBasics of  Robotics & Coding for 6th-8th Grade

Students will be introduced to the basic operations and maneuvers of Sphero robots using Android technology. Once students are familiar with basic operations, they will be challenged to maneuver their robot by developing block code.

This program is offered to Paducah Public School students at no cost. Students NOT enrolled in Paducah Public Schools may attend for a participation fee of $20.00.

spheroSphero Robotics Obstacle Challenge for 6th-8th Grade

NOTE: Participants MUST have completed “basics of robotics” to attend this class. This is NOT an entry level class.

This class will challenge the robotic coding skills you’ve learned in previous classes. You will be given a task to become a problem solver while attempting to maneuver an obstacle course. Participants will use the Engineering Design Process to create a physical avatar/vehicle that will be used by your robot to carry out a task.

This class is free for students enrolled in the Paducah Public School District. All other students can participate for a fee of $20.00.

Basics of 3D Printing using TinkerCAD for 3-5 Grade

Learn the basics of 3D printing using Tinker CAD software. Design a project and discover how to prep, slice and 3D print your project.

Learn the basic operations of unmanned aircraft and how to perform basic maneuvers. This course is an introductory session for students 6th-8th grade. Space is limited. Students NOT enrolled in Paducah Public Schools are asked to provided a $20.00 participation fee.
